Athletics
With a mission to foster the development of athletic abilities, promote good sportsmanship, and cultivate a sense of teamwork and unity among participants, the St. Ann's Catholic School athletics department offers an array of sports designed to provide students with a positive and enriching experience.
Athletics Opportunities
Basketball is offered to students in grades fifth through eighth.
Our six-man Saints football team is composed of students from sixth to eighth grade and happens during fall.
Students in grades sixth through eighth are invited to join the Saints tennis team during the spring season. Practices are held at Bush Tennis Center, offering a prime opportunity for students to develop their tennis skills in a supportive and professional environment.
As for our track program, students can showcase their athletic talents during the spring. In the fall, our cross country team offers a challenging and rewarding experience for those passionate about long-distance running.
Volleyball is exclusively composed of girls in seventh and eighth grade, fostering a competitive and supportive environment for their athletic growth. Additionally, a co-ed volleyball program is available for students in fifth and sixth grade, providing an inclusive opportunity for younger students to engage in the sport.
Participation and Eligibility
Participation fees -- which cover essentials such as uniforms, equipment, tournament fees, officiating, and awards -- vary from sport to sport. Our aim is to keep these costs accessible to encourage broader participation. Financial assistance is available for families in need; please contact our Sports Coordinator, Lety Martinez, for more information.
Lastly, St. Ann's maintains an athletic eligibility requirement to ensure students prioritize their academic responsibilities. For further details, please refer to the Athletics Handbook.
